Our story
Welcome to The Blu Boutique Motel, a fresh and colorful coastal retreat in the heart of St. Joe Beach, Florida. Located directly across from the beautiful white-sand beaches of the Gulf and perfectly positioned between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe, The Blu offers a laid-back home base for experiencing the best of Florida's Forgotten Coast.
More than your traditional beach motel, The Blu features 15 individually themed guest rooms, each thoughtfully designed with its own personality, style and playful coastal character. No two rooms are quite the same, giving guests the opportunity to choose a space that feels uniquely their own.
Every room offers access to a covered shared outdoor area with Gulf views — a comfortable place to slow down and soak in the surroundings. Start the day with coffee and a Gulf breeze, relax after an afternoon on the beach, or settle in and enjoy one of St. Joe Beach's beautiful sunsets.
Inside, each room includes a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker — perfect for keeping drinks and beach-day snacks cold, reheating leftovers from a favorite local restaurant, or enjoying that first cup of coffee before heading out for the day.
Bringing your four-legged sidekick? The Blu offers pet-friendly accommodations, so your pup can come along for the Forgotten Coast adventure. Pet-friendly rooms are limited and should be reserved accordingly.
